HIV 1 & 2 / P24 Antigen

HIV 1&2 antibodies are produced by the immune system after exposure to HIV. HIV 1&2 antibodies tests are used to measure the presence of antibodies being produced in response to the presence of HIV. Levels of the viral p24 protein are present in the blood serum of newly infected individuals during the short period between infection and seroconversion, making p24 antigen assets useful in diagnosing primary HIV infection.
